Centre Block Exterior

Centre Block ExteriorThe Centre Block is made of sandstone from Nepean, Ontario, Ohio, United States, and Wallace, Nova Scotia. Its south facade alone contains 550 windows and approximately 50,000 stones.

The Centre Block is only one of the magnificent Gothic Revival buildings gracing Parliament Hill, but it is probably the one most quickly recognized by Canadians coast to coast.
